In order to comply with lockdown restrictions and keep everyone safe, we now live-broadcast our services from a Studio Church to a number of 'Pop Up' locations.
Use this form to book yourself a place in one of this Sunday's Pop Ups, or join the Studio Church audience. If this is your first time, make sure you read the guidelines.
We're back in lockdown!
That means we're no longer able to meet in person at Studio Church or any of our PopUps.
However, we are able to continue live-streaming each week from our Studio and we're going to continue doing just that, each Sunday at Six.
We'll also post links to interactive after-service events each week.
Please read these guidelines carefully to ensure we are all as safe as possible.
WHO CAN JOIN?
To ensure we are safe and observing the government guidelines, a limited number of people will be able to join each week. So, please only come if you have a ticket confirmed.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We'll pray before the service, enjoy the Metro Online experience in person and connect with our friends in a socially distanced manner. It'll be a little different from the normal church experience, but we'll be worshipping the same God with the same great church family!
Studio Church: Please arrive at 5:30pm. We will have to close the doors at 5:45pm as with Metro Online going out live we can't have people stumbling in. You will be able to wait outside of the crypt door down the drive on Belgrave Road until we're ready to let everyone in.
Pop-Ups: Please arrive at 5:45pm. We will close the doors at 5:55pm so we can all sit down to enjoy the service.
Before you get here, please make sure you have been observing good hygiene to keep us all safe, following common sense and government guidelines to avoid infection. If you have any Covid symptoms, or have had close contact with anyone with Covid symptoms, please do not come.
When you get here there will be a team in blue t-shirts to explain how it all works. You will then be asked to anti-bac your hands before heading inside.
We are asking everyone to wear a face mask. We will have disposable masks available if needed, but we would much prefer if you could bring your own.
We will also be sterilising the surfaces before and after the service. The toilets not be available apart from in a case of emergency.
We have socially distanced seating set up and ask you to observe this throughout the service. Households and bubbles can of course sit next to each other.
Finally, we won't be able to hang around at the end for an extended period of time after the service. Of course, you are more than welcome to head on to a park or pub to catch up, but don't expect the normal post-service doughnuts! Instead, there will be a one-way system in place to exit.
CAN WE SING?
Under current government guidelines we won't be allowed to sing out loud at the moment. However, this doesn't mean we can't worship! We can meditate on God's love, raise our hands in worship and find a new and unique way to praise God. Why not bring a notepad and find a new creative way to worship? Either way, we're still going to go for it either if it's not out loud.
TRACK AND TRACE
In order for us to get in touch with you if someone at the service comes down with Covid, we will need some basic contact information from you as you sign up to this event. We will then inform you if someone in the studio tests positive for Covid.
You wont be able to park at the church, however there is on-street parking in the surrounding area.
Thanks for being part of Metro Sundays! It's great to slowly begin coming back together in person again.
