About Us
Woodlands METRO is a vibrant and growing city centre church, meeting in the heart of Bristol.
We launched in September 2015, as a campus of Woodlands Church, meeting every Sunday evening in 'We the Curious', Bristol's city centre science museum. With the current lockdown we now operate a central 'Studio Church', broadcasting live to several 'PopUp' venues around the city, as well as to our online channels.
All kinds of people are part of Metro but most of us fit into the 18 to 35 age bracket, with a large number of students and urban professionals. We don't make any assumptions about a person's faith - or lack of it. Instead, we create experiences that work for everyone.
It's church you can bring your friend to.
Our vision as a church is "to help people FIND Jesus and LOVE one another, then FOLLOW Jesus and SERVE their city".

What to Expect
Due to the current lockdown, all our services are now exclusively online. You can join us every Sunday at 6pm on our Facebook or YouTube channels.
The service lasts around 60 minutes or so and feature an engaging talk, singing led by a band, and other creative items, such as video, interviews and the odd interactive element.
The feel is informal and inclusive and we aim for everything that we do to be 'real, relevant and refreshing'. In other words, it's got to be authentic, it's got to relate to all of life and it's got to leave you feeling good.
There's a very strong sense of welcome and friendship - even in these strange times. Check us out and let us know how you find us.
