Students

Metro is located right at the heart of the student scene. We've got a vibrant student community, with a great team dedicated to helping students make the most of their time in Bristol.

We'd love to make you feel really welcome and help you get engaged with church, no matter what your faith background.

Things are going to look a little different this year, but we’re just as excited as ever to help you get stuck in.

Freshers

Freshers can be daunting at the best of times, so how do you find community in Covid? Well, we’re working hard to make it easy and safe for you to join us physically at a Metro venue near you.

Plus, it’s easier than ever to check us out before you even arrive in Bristol. Watch our services on our YouTube channel and follow us on Instagram @woodiesmetrostudents to see what we’re really like!

Then, when you get here we’d love to meet you for a socially distances coffee or walk. Just say hello online or in person and the coffee is on us!

Hubs

On weekday nights we get together in Hubs throughout the city. It's in these smaller groups that you really get to know people, start to share life together and begin to work out what it means to follow Jesus at University.

We want you to feel at home at Metro, and Hubs are a great place to start. To find the Hub that is perfect for you take a look at our Hub map or drop us a message and we’ll get you connected.

Plus, for those who don’t feel safe attending a Hub in person, we will be running an Online Hub so you can join in wherever you are in the world!

Mentoring

If you’ve been around METRO at all you’ll know we’re big on mentoring… so big that we created an app for it! With Covid meaning that much of what we normally do isn’t possible, we want to make sure everyone who wants a mentor has one.

All it means is you have someone a little further down the line than you to ask the tough questions, get some advice and work out faith with.
