Metro is located right at the heart of the student scene. We've got a vibrant student community, with a great team dedicated to helping students make the most of their time in Bristol.
We'd love to make you feel really welcome and help you get engaged with church, no matter what your faith background.
There are loads of great activities throughout the year just for students:
Freshers is a great time to try church, so we’ve put together a whole load of ways for you to get connected.
Don’t buy lunch during freshers! Instead, get a free burger at lunchtime on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Bristol Uni Freshers Week from our main Woodlands venue. Then, we’ve got our Hub Launch night on Tuesday 1st October, followed by Bakery Boogieland - our now infamous bakery-based club night on Friday 11th October!
Finally, we’ll be eating together before church at 6.30pm every Sunday during October, followed by ice cream after the service.
On weekday nights we get together in Hubs throughout the city. It's in these smaller groups that you really get to know people, start to share life together and begin to work out what it means to follow Jesus at University.
We’re launching our Hubs with a big Hog Roast on Tuesday 1st October at 7.30pm. Be there!
A lot of new students like to ease themselves into church, settle in and take things slowly. And that's absolutely fine by us.
But for those of you keen to go faster, we created FASTRAK.
So. Want to get stuck into your new church? Feel like you’ve got something to offer and don’t want to hang about?
Apply for FASTRAK and go further, faster.
