Students

Metro is located right at the heart of the student scene. We've got a vibrant student community, with a great team dedicated to helping students make the most of their time in Bristol.

We'd love to make you feel really welcome and help you get engaged with church, no matter what your faith background.

Freshers is a great time to meet new friends and find a church community to call home. That’s why there are loads of Metro events to come along to, as well as our Sunday services and midweek Hub groups.

Plus, it’s easier than ever to check us out before you even arrive in Bristol. Watch our services on our YouTube channel and follow us on Instagram @woodiesmetrostudents to see what we’re really like!

Then, when you get here we’d love to meet you for a coffee or walk and help you settle into life in Bristol. Just say hello online or in person and the coffee is on us!

Hubs

On weekday nights we get together in Hubs throughout the city. It's in these smaller groups that you really get to know people, start to share life together and begin to work out what it means to follow Jesus at University.

We want you to feel at home at Metro, and Hubs are a great place to start. To find the Hub that is perfect for you take a look at our Hub map or drop us a message and we’ll get you connected.

The best way to get connected with a Hub is to come along to our first Student Central on September 26th. It’s a great chance to meet people as we launch our Hubs for the year.

Mentoring

If you’ve been around Metro at all you’ll know we’re big on mentoring… so big that we created an app for it!

All it means is you have someone a little further down the line than you to ask the tough questions, get some advice and work out faith with. We think it’s one of the most helpful things you can do to thrive during uni so just ask if you’re interested!

We love to give people opportunities to get involved in ministry. Even if you’re brand new, we’d love to develop you and release you into your God-given gifts.

Some people prefer to ease themselves into new things and that’s so okay! But if you’re someone who loves to throw yourself in then we’d love to hear from you!
